Based on a very positive response to last year’s event, the John Carroll University Relay for Life will be back on campus in 2008.
The dates of the event are Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, and more information can be found at www.jcu.edu/relay.
In 2007, John Carroll University athletics was very involved with the Relay for Life. In fact, the JCU Football Team and the Sports Information Department shared "Team of the Year" honors for their proactive response leading up to the event and for their energy during.
Several other teams also became involved, including the JCU volleyball team and the swimming & diving team.
The Relay for Life weekend will get a proper kickoff as the JCU baseball team will host archrival Mount Union at 1:00 pm that day.
