In their first competition of the spring season, the JCU Women's Golf team put forth an excellent effort, finishing fifth out of nine teams at the Mount Union College Spring Invitational, including finishing above the host institution.
Senior Brittney Coder set the pace for the Blue Streaks at Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, finishing with a two-round score of 183 that was tied for 16th overall individually.
Also with a top-25 finish was fellow senior Maura Reilly, who shot a two-round score of 189 for 25th overall.
Ashley Pettibon (193) and Kristen Courtney (197) rounded out the scorecard for the Blue Streaks.
