Dandrea Earns Spot On Academic All-OAC Men's Basketball Squad For Second Consecutive Year

John Carroll senior guard Brian Dandrea (Allison Park, PA, Hampton) has been selected to the 2010 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honorable mention list for men’s basketball. 

Dandrea, a three-time letterwinner, is being recognized as an Academic All-OAC honorable mention for the second consecutive year.
 
Dandrea averaged an even five points, 1.4 assists and 1.4 rebounds per game while playing in all 28 contests for the 2010 OAC regular season champion Blue Streaks, starting seven. The senior’s most productive game came at Otterbein on February 10th when he tallied 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting. 

A Finance major at John Carroll, Dandrea carries a 3.50 GPA. 

The Academic All-OAC basketball winners were voted on by faculty representatives from all conference schools. Nominees must carry a minimum 3.25 GPA and be a sophomore academically. Additionally, the nominees must have been starters or reserves that have made a significant team impact.

Men's Basketball Team Drops 137 Points

On November 18, 2005 the Blue Streaks put up 137 points vs. Emory & Henry. Between both schools they combined for 264 points. Emory & Henry scored 127 points.
