Jackie Leuby was one of two Blue Streaks to earn all-league women's golf honors in 2009-2010
Over the course of the 2009-10 campaign, two John Carroll student-athletes played their way onto the All-Ohio Athletic Conference women's golf team.
Sophomore golfer
Jackie Leuby (New Albany, OH, New Albany High School) has been named second team All-OAC by the conference coaches while junior
Ashley Pettibon (Center Township, PA, Center High School) received an honorable mention.
During the regular season, Leuby finished among the top 20 in the league in terms of scoring average.. Her mark of 88.7 strokes per round was good for 11th in the OAC.
Pettibon also made her way into the top 20 scoring averages in the conference. Her 90.7 stroke average in 11 rounds was good for 13th in the OAC.
Both golfers had an impressive showing in the OAC tournament. Leuby shot an 87 and 83 in two rounds for 170 total strokes, tying her for fourth in the tournment. Pettibon finished 15th with a score of 91 in both rounds.
John Carroll finished fourth in the OAC Championship tournament, marking the fourth time in as many years the Blue Streaks had finished fourth or better.
