John Carroll wrestling has an outstanding past, but that does not mean there is lack of room for new traditions.

This Sunday, November 13th, at 2:30 pm in the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center, the John Carroll wrestling team will open their season with a Blue-Gold intrasquad match showcasing the top two wrestlers in each weight class. 

Preliminary wrestle-offs will determine the top two contenders for each of the 10 starting positions who will face off for the right to represent the Blue Streaks against Case Western Reserve on Wednesday, November 16th.

"We have had an amazing preseason and welcome 23 new freshmen to our team," said graduate assistant Dan Mizener. "This is the biggest class of freshmen in John Carroll Wrestling history,  nd coupled with our 20 returning upperclassmen, we're really excited to get started."
