Baldwin-Wallace dominated from start to finish in this match-up that ended a three-year John Carroll winning streak in emphatic fashion. Mark Anders tied a school record with four rushing touchdowns, while the Yellow Jacket defense picked off four passes and limited the Blue Streaks to 154 yards of total offense for the entire game. Anders scored on touchdown runs of 47, 2, 4 and 5 yards and would be named OAC Offensive Player of the Week. Thanks to eight sacks by the Baldwin-Wallace defense, the first shutout in this series was posted since 1994.
