As a man who has touched the lives of countless student-athletes, faculty and staff members during his years of service to John Carroll University. Dr. Andrew Welki enters the Hall of Fame as the Faculty Athletics Representative. Dr. Welki has served as JCU’s Faculty Athletics Representative since 1989. He arrived at JCU in September of 1982 and became a professor in the Economics Department. He is a four-time recipient of the Wasmer Award, which recognizes teaching excellence in the Boler School of Business. As a professor at JCU, he became a member of the American Economics Association, National Tax Association and the Cleveland Business Economists.
