Brittany Danilov is one of the most remarkable pitchers in John Carroll Softball history.
Danilov steered the Blue Streaks to the program’s first conference title in 2010, as JCU won the 2010 Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament. In 2012, Danilov and the Blue Streaks punched a ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the first time by winning the 2012 OAC Tournament.
During her four years, John Carroll posted a 111-55 record, including a program-best 31 wins during her senior year. At the time of her induction, Danilov was the only pitcher in program history to win OAC Pitcher of the Year three times (2009, 2011, 2012) and the only player to be named First-Team All-OAC four times.
In 2009, Danilov became JCU’s first OAC Rookie of the Year and in 2012, she became JCU’s first OAC Player of the Year. At the time of her induction, Danilov held the career program records for strikeouts per game (8.81), opposing batting average (.241), wins (73) career wins, appearances (123), starts (100), complete games (84), shutouts (20), innings pitched (698.2), strikeouts (684). Additionally, Danilov set single-season records for wins (23) and strikeouts (208).
