McVicker is only the second full-time softball player to be elected to the JCU Athletic Hall of Fame, and the first since Audrey Warnock in 1999. As a senior, McVicker finished the year as the home run champion of Division III, launching 14 trippers. In 1998, McVicker was named the Naitonal Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Cathcer of the Year.
Named to the NFCA all-region team twice, McVicker was a three-time first team All-OAC selection (1996, 1997 and 1998). She holds the distinction as the first JCU softball player to earn All-Midwest region first team honors, and is also John Carroll's first three-time first team All-OAC selection. A four-year letterwinner and starter, McVicker was team captain in 1997 and 1998, John Carroll's 1998 Clyde A. Lamb Award winner, and a 1998 Academic All-American.
