Was a varsity forward from 1962 to 1964. During that time, JCU established a dominant record of 27-11 in the PAC and 35-18 overall. Was named All-PAC and team captain in 1963. He graduated as second all-time leading scorer in JCU history with 1,028 points in 1964. He is now ranked fifth all time in scoring.
Following his graduation, The Blue Streaks did not have another winning season until 1972-1973. In his career, he eclipsed the top 10 overall in career rebounds (6th), Free Throw Percentage (4th), Field Goals (5th), Scoring Average (4th), and Points (5th).
