Ignatius (Jack) Spallino played as a forward on the Blue Streak basketball team from 1937-40. In 1940, he was named to the All-Big Four team and was also named All-Ohio in the same season.

After graduation, Spallino spent 36 years at General Tire in Cleveland. He passed away in 1985 at the age of 67.
