John Carroll University Athletics

D'Angelo was a three-time All-American wrestler and won a national championship in the 190 pound weight class in 1983. 

He was a three-time national qualifier, he placed second in 1984 and placed third in 1982 in his other two appearances at the NCAA Division III tournament. 

D'Angelo was a two-time PAC champion.  He graduated with a career record of 77-14-2.  He was third-team Pizza Hut All-American and received honorable mention. 

He was the Associated Press All-American linebacker for the John Carroll football team in 1983.  He was also first team All-PAC in 1983 and second team All-PAC in 1982.
