The John carroll women's soccer team had a collective grade point average of 3.27
The John Carroll University women's soccer team has been named as a recipient for the 2012 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) College Team Academic Awards, the organization has announced.
The Blue Streaks were named as recipients of the award after posting a combined team GPA of 3.27, well above the minimum requirement of 3.0 needed to be considered for the award.
Out of 717 total teams to whom the award was given to, the Blue Streaks were just one of 497 women's athletic teams across the country to be recognized for their hard work and dedication in the classroom.

Michael Marich, finished the 2012 season with an overall record of 9-7-4, including an OAC record of 4-2-3, and fell in the OAC Finals to the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears.
