Tillmaand helped the John Carroll women's cross country team place 11th among Division III schools and 20th overall at the 2009 Ohio Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships. Tillmaand was the second Blue Streak to finish with a time of 21:01.8. Overall Tillmaand placed 35th in the Division III competition.
