Sophomore Alex Vereshchagin brought his fins to the pool this weekend, helping secure wins against cross-town foe Notre Dame (OH) on Friday and the visiting Purple Raiders from Mount Union on Saturday. In the 113-82 victory over Notre Dame, Vereshchagin won both the 50 Free and 100 Free, one of three multiple winners on the evening. Against Mount Union, Vereshchagin glided through the water to another set of victories in the 50 Free (22.48) and 100 Free (49.11) to compliment the team's 200 Free Relay (1:30.78) win, a race in which he swam leadoff.
