Ranallo was an important aspect of John Carroll's victory in the Carroll Classic. Ranallo was a part of the 200 Free relay team that took first place to start off the meet. He also won in the 1650 Free with a time of 17:15.30. He placed second in the 800 Free relay and the 500 Free.
