Freshman Chuck Mule is awarded his first honor of JCU Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Wuske Invitational. 

During the large scale track and field invitational held at the University of Mount Union 's Peterson Fieldhouse, Mule had the strongest finish by a John Carroll athlete in the 1,000 meter-run. 

Mule placed third in the 1,000 meter-run and finished with a time of  2:39.39.
