John Carroll University Athletics

Sophomore Mike Minjock earns the title of Athlete of the Week for his outstanding contribution to John Carrolls eighth place finish at the 2011 Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship this past weekend. 

Minjock finished as the OAC runner-up in the long jump. During the OAC Indoor Track and Field Championship he cleared 22-03 1/2 (6.79 meters) and earned All-OAC status.

In addition to this honor, as a freshman Minjock was an All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer and broke the JCU's men school record in the long high jump with a distance of 7.24 meters(23-9).
