At the Bill Van Horne Invitational hosted by Wheeling Jesuit University, Galiano was the top finisher for the Blue Streaks. With a heave of 14.57 meters, Galiano was the runner-up in the shot put event.  He led the Blue Streaks to finish at the top of the Division III schools.
