Junior Drew Edson made major contributions to the success of the JCU swim team at the 2011 Veale Classic. Edson placed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:47.55 against Case. Edson also placed first in the 100 free with a winning time of 10:49.64. Adding to his productive weekend, Edson was part of the 400 free relay that placed first with a time of 3:23..57.
