Selected as the Most Valuable Player of the 2007 Wittenberg University Charles B. Zimmerman Memorial Classic in helping lead John Carroll to the tournament title. In two games, Sureck was 13-20 (.650) from the field as part of 29 total points. She also pulled down nine total rebounds as JCU defeated two teams with winning records (72-61 over Manchester and 72-45 over Carnegie-Mellon) to take top honors at the Wittenberg Classic.
