The senior stud came ready to compete on Saturday in the OAC Gold Meet as he broke the JCU school record in the 3,000 Steeplechase event. With a finish time of 9:33.76, Rial not only set the new school record, but also recorded a time that is the 14th best in Division III this year. Rial finished the event a full 14 seconds ahead of the next finisher, proving that he was head and shoulders above the competition.
