Kreuz ran a personal best time of 4:40.83 to win the 1500m run at the OAC Championships this past weekend- less than a second away from the OAC 1500m outdoor meet record set by John Carroll alumn Ellie Fernandez in 2006 (4:40.03). Kreuz also placed 3rd in the 800m run with a time of with a time of 2:19.64 to earn All-Conference in the event. Additionally, she was apart of the 4x800m relay team consisting of teammates Nicki Bohrer, Haley Turner, and Megan Lutz which broke the school record and won the the event in 9:19.94, not far off from the OAC meet record time of 9:18.21. Finally, Kreuz contributed on the 4x400m relay team along with Bohrer, Turner and Maureen Creighton which placed 3rd for All-Conference with a time of 4:06.29. As a result of her individual and team relay successes, Kreuz was honored with the Dave Lehman Most Outstanding Women's Distance Athlete of the meet award. She is the first John Carroll runner to receive the award.
