Fano won the very first individual final at the Transylvania Invitational at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, propelling JCU to a sixth-place finish. The sophomore posted a time of 2:12.16 in the 200IM produced the lone first place finish by any individual member of the Blue Streak program, men or women.
