Adams captured his first career Ohio Athletic Conference title with a solid 6-4 victory over Nick Allerding of Mount Union in the final bout of the 184-pound division at the 2008 OAC Wrestling Championships this past Saturday at John Carroll. Adams, whose record has now soared to 29-4 on the season, also rolled to a 7-0 decision in his semifinal match with Ed Bizorik from team champion Heidelberg. Adams will be making his first trip to the NCAA Division III tournament.
