The Blue Streaks traveled to Alliance, Ohio last week to open up Ohio Athletic Conference play against the University of Mount Union. After winning game one of the doubleheader 9-5, the Blue Streaks used a dominant pitching performance from Brandon Maddern in game two. Maddern scattered seven hits across eight innings, allowing one unearned run and walking only two to lead JCU to a 2-1 victory, and a sweep of Mount Union.
