The sophomore had a big hand in the John Carroll University baseball team posting a strong 7-2 record while in Florida. Against Hanover College, went 2-2 with a three-run home run to help the Blue Streaks post a 10-2 victory on February 24. In a 3-0 victory over Franklin on February 25, Robinett contributed a run and an RBI double as part of a 2-3 effort. Later in the trip, he would score the winning run in a 4-2 win over York College.
