The junior seemed to have the winning touch on Saturday. Verdi won both of her individual races, helping the Blue Streaks to finish the regular season with an 8-2 overall record, including 5-0 at home and in Ohio Athletic Conference play. Verdi captured first in the 1,000 free with a season and team-best time of 11:21.87. The Highland Heights, Ohio then secured a top finish in the 500 free, clocking in at 5:34.15.
