Mike Bucisko powered the JCU wrestling team's efforts last weekend, leading the Blue Streaks to the squad's third straight crown at the annual Rochester Institute of Technology Invitational. The senior started strong on Saturday, collecting victories via pin and major decision in his first two matches. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native then turned up the heat, defeating Richard Dennison of Oneonta State in a time of 1:31 in the semifinal match. Bucisko then clinched the crown in the title bout, besting Peter Nash of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in a time of 1:03. The first place finish at 133 marked Bucisko's first collegiate title.
