The senior set a program record and helped the Blue Streaks finish fourth in the Ohio Athletic Conference North Split Meet this weekend. Jenkins recorded an impressive time of 8.02 in the 60-meter dash preliminaries on Friday, setting a JCU record. The Twinsburg native shattered the previous best time of 8.08, which Jenkins set in the event back in 2013. The Walsh Jesuit notched third place overall in the event with a final time of 8.06.
