As the John Carroll University men's basketball team's winning streak continues to grow, few deserve recognition as much as David Linane. The junior point guard has orchestrated the JCU offense wonderfully on the season, and his two performances against Heidelberg and Ohio Northern serve as shining examples. Linane notched 27 points against the Student Princes on Wednesday, shooting 9-of-13 overall and 5-of-8 from behind the arc. The Gilmour Academy grad then racked up 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting in an 84-73 win over Ohio Northern on Saturday. Linane tops the team with 15.3 ppg on the year.
