Another busy weekend, another solid showing for the John Carroll University men's and women's track and field teams. Standing out amidst the fracas was Schasia Modrzynski. The junior turned in a top-notch performance at the SPIRE Midwest Open on Friday and Saturday. Modrzynski tabbed a fifth place finish in the 5000-meter, recording a time of 17:39.29. The East Aurora, New York native will try to keep the momentum going next weekend as the Blue Streaks travel to Ada, Ohio for the Joe Banks Invite.
