Katie Cosker was instrumental in the Blue Streak's sweep of the Capital Crusaders on October 22nd 2016. Cosker recorder 21 digs helping JCU go on a 4-1 run to close out the game and come out with the victory. This seems to be a big part of her game since she is ranked now 6th in digs per set all-time, recording 1546 digs in her career. This helped lead the Blue Streak's to their third sweep in OAC play this season, and improved their record to 15-10 overall and 5-2 in the OAC, leaving them in a tie for third with Mount Union.
