John Carroll University Athletics

The JCU women's swimming and diving team made a statement in their opening OAC mathup versus Ohio Northern.  Their initial two sweeps out of the 16 total events propelled them to a resounding 223-73 victory.  Maddie Dolce was a big part of the latter of the two with her first place finish in the 1000 free (11:17.65).  She followed that up with her second first place performance of the meet in the 500 free (5:27.00).  Outside of her individual achievements, Dolce was the lead-off swimmer for the second place finishing 400 free relay team.
