The freshman 174-pounder was one of five JCU wrestlers to win a title this weekend at the Jim Crytzer Invitational. Seeded second at 174 pounds, he went 4-0 in his title march as he won by major decision, fall, decision and injury default to win his first collegiate crown. Led the Blue Streaks with 20 team points as JCU won the tournament for the second consecutive year. His victory by fall while wrestling up a weight class the night before the Crytzer Invitational secured the team dual meet win (27-16) against Washington & Lee. Was the only John Carroll wrestler to go 5-0 for the weekend.
