John Carroll traveled on the road and opened up conference play with a 3-0 victory, against Wilmington College. During the three sets Thommie Jackson recorded 14 kills, while only having two errors. In the third set Jackson registered seven of her 14 kills. Jackson, also led the Blue and Gold with 15 points in the victory.
