With Senior Night on the horizon (Wednesday 2/13) Kahrin Spear is taking matters into her own hands as the year and her career begin to wind down. The four year starter fought off a scoring struggle in JCU's 73-54 defeat over Heidelberg and 64-59 victory over Baldwin Wallace to absolutely light up the scoreboard in the 58-56 win against Ohio Northern. She finished the day against the Polar Bears going 5-10 from the field, 5-8 from three to lead the team with 15 points. It is never all about points for Spear as in her three games last week she put up 10 assists and made her money on the defensive end with seven steals. She is the true emotional leader on this first place Blue Streak team that is two wins away from and OAC regular season championship and the top seed in the OAC Tournament.
