Sydney shined bright on Saturday at the OAC Championships at Liberty Park in Twinsburg, Ohio. Sydney ran with a time of 22:28.7 in the 6,000-meter race, good to crown her as the OAC Individual Champion that day. She is the third Blue Streak in program history to earn medalist honors. Her strong efforts also pushed the Blue Streaks to be awarded as the championship team for the Ohio Athletic Conference. Sydney will lead JCU into their next meet at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional on November 16th.
