JP excelled in his first career start vs. Wittenberg, aiding JCU to an 18-8 victory. He only allowed three goals in 45 minutes, none of which found the net after the first quarter. Of the three goals allowed, two were man-up goals. The defense was stifling in the second and third quarters as JCU outscored the Tigers 13-0 over that span.
