Claimed medalist honors by firing even par rounds on both days at the Baldwin-Wallace Invitational this past weekend. He would finish in first place by a six-stroke margin over Christian Goetz, Mike Wolfe and Kyle Jascomb -- all from team champion Allegheny. Schroeder carded rounds of 71 and 70 for his score of 141, made all the more impressive by the fact that the Baldwin-Wallace Invitational was played on two different golf courses -- Shale Creek in Medina, Ohio, on Saturday and Pine Hills Golf Course in Hinckley, Ohio, on Friday. For Schroeder, it was second career collegiate title. His other medalist performance occured at the 2006 Muskingum Invitational.
