In JCU’s 1-0 double overtime victory in their Ohio Athletic Conference opener against Capital, Walton scored the winning goal in the 97th minute. Helping her on the goal were teammates Lauren Wilson and Betsy Haigh. With the win, Walton helped JCU continue its best start in program history, sporting an 8-1-2 record. She now leads the team with six goals.
