Benson picked up right where she left off from last season, racking up a pair of wins in the season and conference opener against Wilmington on Friday.  Benson dominated the 1000 Free, finishing almost two full minutes ahead of the second place finisher with a time of 11:08.63.  She also won the 500 Free in 5:31.12.
