Jordan Doore '22G enters her third season with the cross country and track & field programs in 2022-23 academic year, her first as a full-time assistant coach.
Doore spent two years as Kyle Basista's graduate assistant. During those two school years, the Blue Streaks ascended to new heights. The Blue Streaks won three OAC Championships: 2021 Women's Indoor Track & Field, 2021 Men's Cross Country, and 2021 Women's Cross Country.
Doore, who spends much time with the distance runners, helped the Blue Streaks win several NCAA Championships. Alex Phillip won four national titles in 2021-22: cross country, the indoor 3k, indoor 5k, and outdoor 10k. Jamie Dailey was crowned the champ in the outoor 5k in May 2022, too.
Prior to joining the coaching staff, Doore was a 4 year member for the University of Toledo cross country and track & field programs serving as captain in the 2019-20 school year. Doore was selected as nominee for 2020 NCAA Women of the Year while earning Academic All-MAC Honors for indoor and outdoor track.
In addition to her success in athletics, Doore had a strong presence in the classroom earning a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies degree with a concentration in Geography and Planning from the University of Toledo in May of 2020. She was a member of Dean's List (2015-2020) and was selected for the University of Toledo's President's Award for Educational Excellence. Doore was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) beginning in 2016 and was voted President for the 2019-20 school year.
