An overtime goal in the 92 minute by Wooster's Letitia Clark enabled the host school to slip past John Carroll, 1-0, in a non-conference match-up held at Carl Dale Memorial Field in Wooster, Ohio.
The loss ended John Carroll's modest two-match winning streak and marked just the second time this season that the Blue Streaks had been shut out.
John Carroll managed just six shots on the day while Wooster came up with 14. The Blue Streaks had three shots in the second half and one in the second minute of overtime.
JCU keeper Michelle Zrebiec ended up with 10 saves in the contest.
