After several narrow escapes at last weekend's Mount Union Invitational, the John Carroll volleyball team probably figured it had Notre Dame College dead rights after dropping the first two games this evening in a non-conference match held in South Euclid, Ohio.

The host Falcons, however, would not allow the Blue Streaks to work their comeback magic, as a 30-28 game three win completed a sweep fore Notre Dame over its neighborhood rival.

JCU fell by the scores of 30-25 in game one and 30-23 in game two.

Colleen Cavanagh had a team-high ten kills for the Blue Streaks, who had a season low 31 kills and a .113 team hitting percentage in falling to 3-2 on the year
