Despite 33 shots combined from the two combatants, neither John Carroll or Baldwin-Wallace could find the net in an Ohio Athletic Conference men's soccer match that resulted in a 0-0 draw Tuesday evening in Berea, Ohio.

The best news that came out of the night was that John Carroll had earned at least the #2 seed in the upcoming OAC Tournament, thus receiving a first round bye.

The #2 seed became a certainty when it was learned that first-place Capital had wrapped up the OAC regular season title with a 3-1 road win over Heidelberg on the same evening in Tiffin.

Matt DeMarchi made seven saves and posted his sixth shutout of the year and his third in a row.

John Carroll is now 9-4-2 overall and 5-1-2 in the OAC. Baldwin-Wallace is now 12-5-1 overall and 2-5-1 in league action.
