A weather induced weekend off did little to help John Carroll's cause, as any momentum gained by a win over Capital was lost in a 6-3 setback to Otterbein monday afternoon at the Belvoir Blvd. Courts.
Anna Navatsyk and Amy Marchlen powered their way to an 8-1 victory at #2 double for the lone John Carroll point in that phase of play.
In singles, Sara Crane won handily at the #1 spot, while Marchlen survived a first set loss to sweep the second set and win the tiebreaker 10-2 for a win over Rachel Kerr at #3 singles.
Otterbein improves to 10-7 overall and 5-2 in the OAC, while JCU slips to 4-10 and 1-4.
