The John Carroll women's tennis team had missed some opportunities this season to secure wins, but on Tuesday afternoon against Heidelberg, some frustration was taken out to the tune of a 9-0 victory at the Belvoir Blvd. Courts.

Using a slightly revamped line-up, JCU was extremely efficient in its wins. Playing #1 doubles for the first time, Amy Marchlen and Anna Navatsyk rolled to an 8-3 win. Sara Crane and Allison Balestrino dropped just a single game in their move to #2 doubles. Kate Lawson made an appearance in the line-up, and teamed with Ashley Bauer to post an 8-0 victory at #3 doubles.

In singles play, the Blue Streaks were just as dominant. In fact, Marchlen and Balestrino dropped just one game in their sweeps at the #3 and #4 slots, respectively, while Julie Britten was a 6-0 6-0 winner at #6 singles.

John Carroll improves to 5-10 overall and 2-4 in the OAC, while Heidelberg falls to 3-8 overall and 1-5 in league play.
