John Carroll had a tough go in its final non-conference competition of the 2008-09 season, dropping a tri-meet to North Coast Athletic Conference foes Allegheny and Oberlin Saturday in Oberlin, Ohio.
The Blue Streaks lost to the host Yeowomen, 148-82, as well as the Allegheny Gators, 153.5-83.5.
Heidi Benson was the top performer for JCU on Saturday, as she won both the 1000 Free (10:53.83) and the 500 Free (5:20.28).
Andrea Kovacs had a pair of runner-up finishes, placing second in the 50 Free (25.85) and the 100 Free (56.29). Also finishing second was Samantha Mossman in the 200 Back (2:18.19).
