The Blue Streaks had a number of high finishes on Tuesday.
Despite a difficult field that included two Division I opponents, the John Carroll women's swimming & team recorded nine top-five finishes and scored the 136-83 win over Notre Dame College Tuesday night at the Cleveland Dual Meet Invitational.

The Blue Streaks fell to the host Cleveland State University Vikings, 175-58, and to Canisius College, 179-58. Though technically scored as separate dual meets, the Invitational featured the four participating schools racing together, with individual events accounting for overall points.
Among the top performers for John Carroll included Rachel Libertin, who scored a third place overall finish in the 200-Yard Butterfly with a 2:23.96. Also finishing third was the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay team, consisting of
Rachael Mizner,
Lindsay Eddingfield, Katii Sheffield, and
Maggie Donoghue (1:46.41).
Tori Watson (100-Yard Freestyle),
Julia Adams (200-Yard Backstroke),
Melissa Fillmore (200-Yard Breastsroke), and the 200-Yard Medley Relay team of
Julia Adams,
Sara Knezevich, Libertin, and Watson took fourth place at the meet.
The Blue Streaks will make the short trip down South Green on Friday, December 2 for a rematch against Notre Dame College. The first splash will be at 6:00 p.m.
